Evangelia Stagogianni
Evangelia Stagogianni has a MASTER IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT and is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract microsurgery, pediatric ophthalmology, refractive surgery, and glaucoma operations. He entered the Medical School of the Universidad de Oriente in Bolivar in 1992 and graduated with honors in 1999. He then retrained in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Hospital Universitario de Caracas¨, Caracas Venezuela. He specialized in Ophthalmology at the UNAM University Ophthalmology Clinic and Hospital Dr Luis Sanchez Bulnes, Asociacion para Evitar la Ceguera en Mexico (A.P.E.C). There he was retrained in cataract surgery, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology and the correction of myopia – hypermetropia – astigmatism and presbyopia with lasers and intraocular lenses. After completing her postgraduate training, she has performed thousands of operations and has gained extensive experience in keratoplasty, refractive surgery, limbal stem cell transplantation, use of amniotic membrane, conjunctival flaps, implantation of special intraocular lenses and diaphragms, and anterior hemisphere restoration techniques, as well as Ahmed Ahmed valves . Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology (Microsurgery in the anterior part of the eye) Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México. 2008 – 2012 and Program Director in the Department of ¨Microsurgery in the anterior part of the eye¨ at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México. 2011 -2012. She has published a rich scientific work, with publications in authoritative international ophthalmological journals and books as an invited speaker of many foreign Ophthalmological Societies both in Europe and America (ALACCSAR, SECOIR, ASCRS, ESCRS, CMCC).

Chrysanthi Stagogianni
Chrysanthi Stagogianni is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract microsurgery, corneal transplants, refractive surgery, and glaucoma operations. He entered the Medical School of the Universidad de Oriente in Bolivar in 1990 and graduated with honors in 1997. He then retrained at the Department of Ophthalmic Immunology and Intraocular Inflammation of the University Hospital Francisco Antonio Risquez, Caracas, Venezuela. He specialized in Ophthalmology at the UNAM University Ophthalmology Clinic and Hospital Dr Luis Sanchez Bulnes, Asociacion para Evitar la Ceguera en Mexico (A.P.E.C). There he was retrained in cataract and corneal surgery and laser correction of myopia – hypermetropia – astigmatism and presbyopia. After completing her postgraduate training, she has performed thousands of operations and has gained extensive experience in keratoplasty, refractive surgery, limbal stem cell transplantation, use of amniotic membrane, conjunctival flaps, implantation of special intraocular lenses and diaphragms, and anterior hemisphere restoration techniques, as well as Ahmed Ahmed valves . Konstantinos Anastasilakis
Konstantinos Anastasilakis Dimitriou was born in 1972. In 1990, he was admitted to the Military School of Officer Corps, in the Medical Department with the 8th grade and graduated from it in 1996 with the 4th grade. He enrolled in 1990 at the Medical School of the University of Thessaloniki, from where he graduated in 1996 with a grade of “Very Good”. In 2000-2004 he specialized in Ophthalmology at the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki. Since 2004, he has started to practice the profession privately. From 2005-2007 he was the Director of the ophthalmology department of the Didymoteicho Military Hospital. From 2007 to 2012, he performed the duties of Curator of the Ophthalmology Clinic at 424 GSNE Thessaloniki with the rank of Ophthalmologist, at the same time maintaining a private practice at 130 Tsimiski Street in the center of Thessaloniki. From 2012 to 2014 he served at the Military School of Officer Corps (SSAS) as a Medical Department Head. Since August 2014, he has resumed the duties of Curator of the Ophthalmology Clinic at 424 GSNE Thessaloniki with the rank of Chief Physician. In 2010-2011, he retrained for 18 months at the Second University Ophthalmology Clinic (Papageorgiou Hospital of Thessaloniki) in the field of Surgery and Vitreous-Retinal Pathology, performing numerous specialized surgeries. In March 2015, he was awarded a Doctor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with the grade of “Excellent” after successfully supporting his thesis. As part of his PhD, he has successfully attended the postgraduate courses “Psychophysiology of Vision”, “Glaucoma: An Integrated Approach”, “Fundamentals of Microsurgery” and “Research Tools in Ophthalmology”. For five years he participates in the teaching of the Ophthalmology course to the 5th year medical students at the Second University Ophthalmology Clinic. He has been a scientific partner of the “Diathlasis” Eye Laser and Microsurgery Center since 2003, having performed numerous surgeries to correct myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism with the LASIK and PRK methods. He is also a scientific associate of the Vitreous-Retinal department of the ¨Diathlasis¨ center, responsible for performing vitrectomy operations (retinal detachments, vitreous hemorrhages, macular holes, etc.) He is a member of the Ophthalmological Society of Northern Greece (ÖBE), of Hellenic Society of Intraocular and Refractive Surgery, the Hellenic Vitreous-Retina Society, the European society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the European society of Retina Specialists. He has attended and participated as a speaker in numerous Panhellenic and many International Ophthalmological conferences (see Scientific work) since 2000. He is married to Irini Charalambidou, Professor of Philology and has two children, Eleni, 16 years old and Christina, 12 years old.

Panagiotis Emm. Matsis
Dr. P.E.Matsis is a Surgeon – Ophthalmologist and specializes in microsurgery of the cataract, cornea, glaucoma operations, refractive surgery with LASER and eyelid surgery. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Athens and received his residency at the Pammakaristos Hospital and the Penteli Children’s Hospital. He retrained at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital. Partner of Medisystem and member of the Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (EEOPEX) Trained as a Clinical Fellowship in the Adnexal and Oculoplastic Department of Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, with UCL Professor of Ophthalmology prof. J.R.O.Collin.
