Keratometry

Keratometry is used to measure corneal curvature. As a procedure, it is characterized as completely painless and greatly facilitates the cooperation of the patient and the doctor, so that he can form a first picture of the patient.
Keratometry checks for corneal astigmatism (a refractive error caused by abnormalities in the shape and curvature of the cornea). Also, very useful conclusions are drawn for keratoconic cases, but also for all refractive patients.
